Mission Valley YMCA Krause Family Skatepark Description

This skatepark features a pool that to many is the best skatepark pool built in SoCal since the many great pools that were available to skate in the late 70's and early 80's. I am definitely one who skated many of those pools and do believe that Wally Holliday has done it again with this beauty. For those of you that are pool skaters and have not yet sessioned this pool, get in your car and make the trip. The transitions are perfect and the coping is calling your name. On any given Saturday or Sunday you will most likely find yourself sessioning with some legends from the past as well as some of the current top pros and park locals that rip the pool apart.Oh yeah, the park also features a X-Games style vert ramp as well as 40,000 Sq Ft of skate terrain.

Skateparks are becoming more common as Skateboarding grows in Southern California and around the world. A Skatepark Directory such as SoCal Skateparks can help you to find the best Skateboard Parks in Southern California. We have put this Skatepark Directory together so that skateboarders in Southern California and around the world can find skateboard parks easier here in SoCal. Skateparks are important to the foundation of skateboarding. In order for skateparks to remain vibrant in SoCal we have to do our best to make sure that the skateparks that are built here are going to be skateparks that our children will want to skate 20 years from now. We want this to be your first choice skatepark directory and hope that all of the skateparks listed here will help you to find your way.
